Now let’s assume that this was your first trade and you bought in at the right point based on the trading rules you’ve learned. You invested $5,000 and after 6 months your capital is now at $24,000 with your original $5,000 investment included. 

On your next trade and let’s use a typical example, you target a marginable stock that has a quality “hi-scoring” trading pattern. 

Since the price is in a higher price range let’s say $20 and produces a common 100% gain out of the setup in 4 months your trading capital is now at $72,000. ($24,000 margined to $48,000=$48,000 profit plus the original $24,000).

Let me tell you about my own evolution as a trader. 

Back in the early 1990’s I was a wannabe stock trader and I spent a lot of time studying various trading strategies.

Truth be told, there’s an enormous amount of information out there on the “best” trading and investing systems, and frankly, it would take years to get through just a small portion of it.

Origins of The Elite Wavetrader System

My background was not unlike many people I know, working sometimes 18 hour days 6 days a week and constantly complaining about being tired all the time. I was a “glorified real estate investor” with a ton of property and a lot of people relying on me for a paycheck. Quite often I was on the short-end of any remaining cash after the bills got paid.

I had a boatload of debt to go along with this real estate ownership. Debt that didn’t care whether the market was strong or soft…it had to be fed. This was right before the in-town real estate market in Atlanta softened and cleaned my clock.

I knew there had to be a better way. I was at the phase in my life where I was just worn out from trying to create “businesses” that required me to get up in the morning at some “ungodly” hour.

And then to fight an hour and a half of traffic going to a jobsite to oversee contractors, followed by driving around town most of the day looking for new property or checking on vacancies.

This was right before driving home for another two hours in an even worse evening rush hour.  The brief respite during the dinner hour was followed by an additional 2-3 hours of office work preparing for the following day.

Many of you know the drill…you have your own similar stories.

I won’t belabor the point.  Suffice it to say…“I was over it”.

At this point in time, I remembered one of the first properties I owned with my brother back in the 1980’s - a 10-room rooming house in Decatur, Georgia.

Renovating the property involved almost daily trips to the local Home Depots for supplies. I always saw the busy stores and full parking lots, and I thought to myself “Hmmm– this might be a good stock to buy.”  That’s as far as I went with it at the time.

Well, ten years later, the rooming house had appreciated about 100% and Home Depot stock was up 3,000%. Fifteen grand invested in Home Depot stock would have turned into half a million bucks, and without tenant headaches and clogged toilets!

Needless to say, this experience inspired me to learn how the stock market worked and how to find the next mega-mover prospect.

And thus began a passion for researching the stock market’s biggest winners that spanned many years.  Researched that has recently culminated in not only some of my best stock picks of all time but the completion of a trading system that corners the market on hi-performing stock selection strategies.
